MICHAEL POTE is an award-winning band director known for his strategic, student-centered approach to music education. He served as Associate Director of Bands at Carmel High School from 1993 to 2013 and was Director of Bands from 2013 until his retirement in 2025.
He emphasizes a balanced, collaborative environment where students grow as critical listeners and active participants in rehearsals.
